About Us

Homeclad was established in 1972 by Joe & Lily Castronini; we started out as a small family business in a factory located in Greenarce making aluminum windows and doors.

Soon after opening in 1979 the business moved to Padstow factory where their first roll former went into operation manufacturing Colorbond® Steel Zincalume cladding leading them into a market where the demand was high for the supply of aluminum doors, guttering, security roller shutters roofing.

During later development in mid 1980’s Joe semi-retired with son Denis taking over the management role and introduction the new supply and installation patios, carports and awnings.

Continuously expanding and keeping up with the current trends of the industry with our involvement with anufacturing and installation of all home improvements has been our number one innovation in this industry.

Whilst Homeclad’s journey was still involving Denis’s aspirations for more became apparent, when new business partner Berry Campbell came on board bringing 20 plus years experience of manufacturing and roll forming metal roofing supplies, the era of Hitec was well established.

Early 2015 our latest business expansion has begun with folding flashings onsite and supplying metal roofing products to some the biggest roofing companies in Sydney alongside having our own installation teams.

For the past three years Hitec Patios and Hitec Roofing has worked as a deep-rooted platform for pre established connections in the roofing business bringing continuous opportunities for development and expansion, which has lead us to 2018 the introduction of HMR supplies.

Entering into 2018, our vision simplified down to providing and upholding the best quality and quickest turn around for manufacturing metal roofing supplies closest to Sydney metro area. Our perception of the industry is not only to hold the best quality and the quickest turn around, but to focus and excel to our best standards in field we have been slowly upcoming for 43 years.
